Help & Support December-A 2024

Release notes - March 2024

Summary

24.3 contains increased functionality in Highlight's Reporting API and several improvements when discovering large Cisco Meraki SD-WAN estates.

Reporting API includes Wireless Access Points

Highlight's Reporting API has been updated to include queries for data on Wireless Access Points.

Read the Reporting API documentation and contact us for assistance in setting up and interpreting the API data or for a copy of our ready-to-use templates.

Meraki SD-WAN improvements when discovering large estates

As we regularly discover new, large SD-WAN estates, we've found the following ways to make the process even more straight-forward.

Interface or DeviceStatus in MerakiHighlight action on discovery
DeviceDormantHighlight won't discover any watches on a device with status dormant.
InterfaceDown, Failed or DisconnectedIf watch creation is set to Pending, then Highlight discovers these watches in a pending state. Previously, there was no way to create a watch on a temporarily down interface. This applies to Cisco Catalyst and Fortinet also.
InterfaceReadyThe watch is created with the Dormant flag set in Highlight, contact us to disable this option.
